Glass
You may prefer a glass roof to a polycarbonate one. Toughened sealed units can replace the polycarbonate sheeting in any roof to capitalise on it's heat loss and noise reducing properties.
The Global roofing system is substantial enough in its stucture to accept the much heavier glass with no risk of sagging. While polycarbonate has many advantages, it is overtaken by glass for noise reduction and heat loss minimisation.
While clear glass is favoured in most cases, obscure, tinted and even sand-blasted glass is available. Prices for these are available on application.
All sealed units are manufactured to British Standards, and come with a full ten year guarantee against failure.
